How to Write SEO Friendly Blog Posts
By Kavin P · · 1 min read

Learning how to write SEO friendly blog posts means writing for people first and search engines second.
Before you write
- Pick one main keyword and look at the pages already ranking.
- Note what they cover and what they miss.
- Decide the single question your post will answer.
Structure
- A title with the keyword near the start
- A short introduction that confirms the reader is in the right place
- Clear H2 sections, each answering one sub-question
- Short paragraphs, lists and examples
- A conclusion with a next step
Write clearly
Use plain words. Explain terms. Give real examples from your own work. Avoid filler and repeating the keyword unnaturally.
Optimise after drafting
- Write a unique title and meta description.
- Add alt text to images.
- Link to two or three related posts and one service page.
- Check that the page loads fast on mobile.
Update, do not abandon
Review posts every six months. Add new information, fix links and improve sections that get impressions but few clicks.
Length
Write as long as the topic needs. Depth and usefulness matter more than word counts.
